The Postal Service has a new service, called U.M.A. Delivery Express, which lets people shop and pay their bills online, without having to leave their homes.
The service, launched in April, is priced at $29.95 per month and comes with free delivery.
It’s available for people living in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Washington, D.C., Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the U.K. Residents who sign up will get their first U.R.O. package in the mail on Oct. 4, 2020.
The delivery service was introduced in April after the Postal Service was forced to cut back on delivery hours in response to a national delivery crisis, which led to delays and cancellations of packages.
U.O.-based mail carriers are facing a cash crunch as consumers cut back from mail.
But a major push to improve service has led to new online delivery options and a growing number of companies that offer online delivery.
The U.N. has said it expects the U-R.
Os to be available by 2021.
